This was an 8-month contract.

Startups with a deep purpose drive my interest the most. I look for projects that stretch into new territory. This project hit that bar easily.

Maverick is a next generation social network dedicated to providing new opportunities for girls and young women. The network focuses on bringing out the next generation of leaders, artists, and entrepreneur.

I got to spend a lot of time helping them iterate on a native video-editing tool that shared a lot of similarities with TikTok. There was plenty to think about here, from text and effects to video stitching and performance monitoring.

The project was a blast to work on as someone very interested in video and photography.
